Deadline Extended: World YWCA Team at the United Nations
World YWCA invites local associations of YWCA USA in the greater New York City area to nominate young women to join a new team of World YWCA representatives to the United Nations. Women under 30 who are active in the YWCA movement, committed to YWCA values, interested in learning more about advocacy and international human rights, and able to volunteer 10-12 days per year will be considered.
Applicants can should email Kelli Shewmaker with the following materials by next Wednesday, April 11: a one paragraph biography focusing on your global work, a 200-word letter of interest describing your motivation and why you would like to be a World YWCA representative, and a letter of support from the executive director or CEO of your local YWCA. If you are an executive director or CEO, please provide a letter of support from your board chair. Contact Kelli with any questions.

New YWCA Performance Metrics
The report YWCA Performance Metrics: Sexual Assault and Trafficking Services for Survivors has been posted to the Intranet. This is the ninth report in 2018’s Today’s YWCA Data Report series. Find this new report along with others in the series by visiting Our National Movement & Impact. Each report presents data recently gathered from all YWCAs, including service offerings, demographics, funding sources, referral channels, partnerships, curriculums, outcomes realized, and a directory to find which YWCAs provide each service. New reports are added all the time to the Resource Library, be sure to check it out!
