Lore de la Bastide is Vice President and General Auditor in the Auditing department.  She is responsible for activities that provide independent and objective assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls that govern the operations of Consolidated Edison, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates.  She is also responsible for adding value to improve the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, and internal control.

Lore is a graduate of St. Peter’s College in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  She joined the Company as part of the management intern program.  She has thirty-four years of experience in various areas of the company including Corporate Accounting, Construction and Maintenance Services, Central Field Services, Customer Operations, and Supply Chain.

Lore has been an advocate for the Corporate Mentoring Program and the Growth Opportunities for Leadership Development (GOLD) Program.  She has received the 2012 Professional Women in Construction Salute to Women of Achievement Award, 2009 YWCA City of New York Academy of Women Leaders Award, and 1996 Con Edison Living Our Values Award.  Lore is currently a member of Advancing Women Executives.  Lore also serves on the Board of Directors of the YWCA of the City of New York and is Chair of the Nominating and Board Development Committee for that board.
