S&P Global salutes Martina L. Cheung for her visionary leadership, outstanding ability to execute to drive sustainable business results, and her unwavering passion for building a diverse and inclusive organization where all employees can truly thrive.
Martina is responsible for monetizing and leveraging the organization’s significant risk intellectual property (research, content, models, data, analytics and solutions) to serve clients in managing complex risk challenges.
She previously served as S&P Global’s Chief Strategy Officer, where she drove the execution and measurement of the Company’s core objectives of sustainable growth, and the expansion of its global footprint. She also served as head of S&P Global Ventures, overseeing investments in early stage Fintech startups.
Martina joined S&P Global in 2010 as Vice President of Operations and was appointed Managing Director of the Global Strategy group in 2012.
Martina serves on the Board of Directors of CRISIL, India’s leader in credit ratings and research. She is also an Executive Sponsor for S&P Global’s Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX) and Spectrum (LGBT) groups. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Business Studies from University College Galway.
