We invite you to attend the YWCA of the City of New York’s Black History Month Salon Series, The Future of Black Politics in the Current Age. This event will take place on Wednesday, February 22, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the YWCA NYC Family Resource Center (FRC) located on 500 West 56th Street, New York, NY 10019. This year, in honor of Black History Month, our conversation will be centered on the direction and impact of black politics in this new political landscape. Our panel will include Christina M. Greer, PhD Associate Professor of Political Science of Fordham University and Monica Dennis, Racial Justice Strategist & Facilitator and Basil Smikle, Executive Director of the New York State Democratic Committee.
