You are invited to our Black History Month  2016 Salon Series “A LeaderFULL Movement–(Re)claiming the Civil Rights   Story.” The day   will include:

-Continental breakfast panel “Beyond Allies:   Becoming Anti-Racist in a “Post-Racial”   Society” with John Gentile and Brigid Lang

-Brown bag lunch presentation, What is this   thing called “Race?” with Dr. Deidre Franklin

-Evening discussion with light   refreshments, Affirming Collective   Leadership: “Strong People don’t need   Strong Leaders” with Siri Nelson and   Tynesha McHarris

The Black History Film Festival includes the following films:
Black Is…Black Ain’t (9:00am-10:30am)
Black and Jews (11:00am-12:30pm)
The Black Press: Soldiers Without Swords (1:00pm-2:30pm)
Ethnic Notions (3:00pm-4:30pm)
Color Adjustment (5:00pm-6:30pm)
Lessons of Hyati (7:00pm-8:30pm)
