On February 21, 2019, the YWCA of the City of New York recognizes American Heart Month and welcomes the Academy of Women Leaders and invited guests to the first 2019 Empowerment Series event Heart Smart For Women, hosted by Northwell Health.

We also welcome our Featured Speakers Dr. Jennifer Mieres and Dr. Stacey Rosen, co-authors of Heart Smart for Women: Six S.T.E.P.S in Six Weeks to Heart Healthy Living, as we discuss the importance of caring for ourselves and our heart health.
