PwC salutes Elizabeth Diep for her outstanding client service as well as her commitment to PwC’s Diversity and Corporate Responsibility efforts.  Her leadership skills and dedication serve as a role model within the firm.

Liz is a Partner with PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management practice in New York, specializing in Alternative Investments. She is a recognized leader with a 16 year track record serving many of the firm’s most complex alternative investment clients.

Liz provides assurance and advisory services to asset management clients, with extensive experience in hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds and endowments. Liz’s client base encompasses funds with a broad array of trading styles, including long/short equity, credit derivatives, global macro, asset and mortgage-backed investing, distressed investing and other alternative investments.

Liz adds value to her clients and the industry by combining her deep industry knowledge, commitment, and leadership, with substantive technical expertise, a collaborative style and a fair and balanced approach.

Liz has significant knowledge of auditing under US GAAS, accounting under US GAAP and regulatory issues relating to asset managers. Liz is a frequent instructor on accounting issues affecting the alternative investments industry.

Liz is very active in many of PwC’s recruiting, diversity and people efforts. She serves as the assurance recruiting champion for New York University, Co-chair of PwC’s Latino Inclusion Network and as the Human Resources Partner for the Asset and Wealth Management Market Team.

Liz is also active in many non-profit organizations and has served as a Board Member for the Pace University Lubin School of Business Alumni Board, the New York State Society of CPA’s Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession and for the NY Chapter for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (“ALPFA”). Currently, Liz serves on the National Board of Directors of ALPFA.

Liz earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Latin American Studies from Pace University. Liz is fluent in Spanish. Liz is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and Connecticut. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPA’s.
