Thasunda Brown Duckett is a Senior Vice President and East Region Manager for Chase Mortgage Banking. She manages 950 mortgage sales professionals in the New York tri-state, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida markets, providing home financing counsel to Chase customers and prospects. Duckett also served as the Director of Affordable Lending and Emerging Markets at Chase.
Before Chase, Duckett was a Director of Emerging Markets at Fannie Mae and led the implementation of strategies designed to increase homeownership among under-served communities.
Duckett is a member of Chase’s Diversity Advisory Group and co-chair of the Mortgage Banking Diversity Advisory Group. She was featured in Ebony Magazine as a young African-American leader and has been profiled in numerous Chase publications.
Duckett serves on the boards of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the Central Jersey Alumni Foundation and is also on the Council of Urban Professionals. She earned an M.B.A. from Baylor University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Houston. She is married with three children.
