Who is the 21st Century girl?
How can we support her aspirations?
What happens when 200 girls and women unite to find out?

On June 2, 2014, the YWCA of New York City will convene girl and women leaders from diverse backgrounds at a landmark event for the 21st Century Girl.

The Annual Potential to Power© Girls Symposium will unite intergenerational and multiracial voices to foster understanding, dialogue and social action on critical issues facing girls in New York City. The event will promote an honest conversation about gender equity in our times with trailblazers in women’s and girls’ rights. The goal of this Symposium is to organize a network of advocates to advance policy, intergenerational relationships, and opportunities for the next generation of women in school, career and life.

Weigh in on the conversation, tweet with #YW21CG. For more information or to register for this event, please e-mail 21cg@ywcanyc.org.
